Global Payroll Lead

The Global Payroll Lead oversees the day-to-day execution of IEEE's global payroll operation, managing bi-weekly multi-state domestic and monthly international payrolls for approximately 1,300 employees across six countries. This role serves as the senior working authority on payroll processing, retirement plan administration, timekeeping, and leaves of absence, while providing direction and training to the Global Payroll Specialist. The position acts as the primary backup to the Senior Global Payroll Manager, ensuring payroll continuity and compliance with regulatory requirements. Operating with a high degree of independence, the role requires extreme confidentiality, precise accuracy, and sound judgment in a hybrid work environment.
