The Global Safety Medical Director, Obesity at Amgen is the safety expert responsible for establishing strategy and priorities for pharmacovigilance activities for assigned development product(s). The role is accountable for the overall safety profile and product-related decisions, leads the Safety Analysis Team and Global Safety Team, and serves as delegate for the Therapeutic Area Head. The position also partners with cross-functional Evidence Generation teams and manages Global Safety Physicians.
