The Global Safety Officer / Global Safety Medical Director for Obesity at Amgen is the safety expert responsible for establishing strategy and priorities for pharmacovigilance activities for assigned development products. The role is accountable for the overall product safety profile and product-related decisions, leads the Safety Analysis Team and Global Safety Team, and serves as delegate for the Therapeutic Area Head. The position participates on cross-functional evidence generation teams and manages Global Safety Physicians.
