About this role

The role involves advising on export controls and trade sanctions regulations, supporting supply chain management, evaluating compliance programs, and developing training on trade sanctions and export controls.

Responsibilities

Advise on the proper application of export controls and trade sanctions regulations.
Provide export control classification for items manufactured or purchased by the company.
Design, implement, and maintain processes and tools to support export controls and trade sanctions compliance.
Identify and drive improvements in the overall trade compliance program.
Develop and deliver training on trade sanctions and export controls.

Skills

Qualifications

Expert-level knowledge of U.S. export controls and trade sanctions regulations, particularly those administered by the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).Familiarity with EU and UK trade laws is highly desirable.Minimum of 12 years of experience in export controls and/or trade sanctions compliance.Strong understanding of best practices in trade compliance program design and implementation.Bachelor’s degree required.
