Grant Accountant

The Grant Accountant performs professional accounting and financial reporting activities related to the City's grant programs and general accounting operations. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate grant financial records, reconciling accounts, monitoring grant budgets and expenditures, preparing financial reports, and supporting compliance with applicable federal, state, and local grant requirements. Working collaboratively with Finance staff and other City departments, the Grant Accountant helps ensure grant funds are properly accounted for, expenditures are properly documented, reporting requirements are met, and financial records are maintained in accordance with applicable accounting standards and City policies.
