The Grants Specialist II supports faculty, center directors, and staff through the pre-award lifecycle of sponsored research projects, ensuring proposals meet sponsor and university guidelines and are successfully submitted. The role also coordinates regulatory compliance, compiles required documentation, and may assist with select post-award activities and payroll sourcing for research-intensive departments. The position operates within a university research administration environment and interacts with PIs, department administrators, and central offices to facilitate award setup and closeout.
