Grants Specialist

This position researches, compiles, and writes grant applications for state, federal, and local funding opportunities while understanding the limitations and needs of the County. The role involves managing all pre-award functions and providing support for post-award functions, serving as a liaison between the County, funding sources, and external agencies. The Grants Specialist also assists departments with grants implementation, budget preparation, and compliance monitoring to ensure effective program delivery.
