About this role

A Network Model Engineer serves as a technical expert in designing and governing electrical network models for Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS) across North America. The role requires close collaboration with utility clients, GIS teams, and vendors to ensure accurate modeling for applications like outage management and fault location while defining industry standards.

Responsibilities

Lead development and governance of electrical network models for ADMS implementations.
Define mapping rules and transformation logic between GIS data and ADMS platforms.
Establish data quality rules and validation processes for distribution network accuracy.
Coordinate model builds across development, QA, and production environments.
Support training of utility staff on model updates and operational change management.
