About this role

Environmental Science Associates seeks an early-career Groundwater Program Analyst to support their Technology Services team in configuring and managing the Groundwater Accounting Platform (GAP). The role involves assembling and validating complex groundwater data, translating sustainable management policies into system logic, and building dashboards for agencies and growers. Candidates will facilitate stakeholder workshops and document technical processes while working collaboratively with project managers and software developers.

Responsibilities

Configure groundwater management programs within the Groundwater Accounting Platform
Assemble and perform QA/QC on groundwater accounting data including telemetry and spatial data
Translate allocation rules and demand management policies into platform configuration logic
Build and validate dashboards to provide clear views of usage and compliance status
Facilitate stakeholder workshops and trainings for agencies and growers

Skills

Qualifications

Master's degree in water resources, hydrology, environmental science, or related fieldBachelor's degree in water resources related fieldProficiency in GIS tools (QGIS or ArcGIS)Familiarity with SQL or scripting languagesAbility to pass federal and/or state background check
