The Guest Services Lead provides day-to-day leadership and operational oversight for shelter shifts, serving as the primary onsite resource for staff and ensuring consistent implementation of safety protocols and guest support practices. This role models trauma-informed, guest-centered service while supporting the team in responding to guest concerns, operational challenges, and crisis situations. The position works collaboratively with leadership to maintain a welcoming, safe, and well-functioning shelter environment for families.
People Serving People operates the largest family homeless shelter located in Downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota, and a family homeless shelter for women and non-binary-led families in North Minneapolis. Its early childhood education center also operates two sites, one for shelter guests and one for the public.
