EXOS Aerospace is seeking a Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) & Flight Controls Engineer to support the development, analysis, simulation, testing, and validation of flight systems for reusable suborbital vehicles. This hands-on hybrid role involves deep GNC engineering work alongside technical program management responsibilities directly supporting the Chief Technology Officer. The position requires working in an AI-augmented environment to help improve vehicle flight performance and ensure technical programs are planned, tracked, and executed with discipline.
EXOS Aerospace is one of three FAA-licensed reusable suborbital launch operators in the United States, providing flight test services for orbital vehicle development, defense testing, advanced research, and commercial payload missions. Their reusable platforms support validation of avionics, guidance and navigation systems, flight controls, and reentry architectures in real flight environments. EXOS also develops integrated composite structures and propulsion architectures aimed at orbital transfer, Earth-to-Lunar logistics, and sustained space access.
