About this role

As a Guidance Navigation Control (GNC) Engineering Analyst at Northrop Grumman, you will design, analyze, and test spacecraft subsystems for DoD, NASA, and commercial customers. This role involves developing simulation models, tuning control loops, and performing rendezvous and proximity operations analyses to support mission-critical space missions. You will collaborate with small to medium-sized groups to define the art of the possible in autonomous space systems.

Responsibilities

Design and tune spacecraft attitude and position control loops
Develop simulation models for sensors and actuators
Analyze relative guidance solutions for rendezvous and docking
Document designs and present results to internal and external customers
Perform actuator sizing and sensor selection for early design phases
