About this role

Cerebras Systems is seeking a Hardware/Low Level Security Engineer to harden the foundational layers of their wafer-scale AI compute platforms. The role involves working across the Linux kernel, firmware, and host OS to identify vulnerabilities and implement robust security controls. You will partner with infrastructure teams to drive secure boot strategies, develop kernel-level monitoring, and protect unique compute architectures at scale.

Responsibilities

Participate in platform and hardware teams to embed security controls
Design and implement security hardening across Linux kernel and firmware layers
Drive secure boot and attestation strategies across infrastructure
Conduct deep security reviews of kernel modules and low-level components
Develop kernel-level monitoring and telemetry for attacker behavior detection
