About this role

The Hardware Test Engineer will plan, execute, and report validation tests for EV battery packs and chargers within a New Product Development team. This role focuses on hands-on testing of high-voltage systems, utilizing lab equipment to perform electrical, functional, and safety assessments. The position is designed for early-career professionals with 2-5 years of experience in the EV industry who are ready to take ownership of test programs.

Responsibilities

Execute DVP&R tests on battery packs, modules, BMS hardware and DC/AC chargers
Set up and operate lab equipment including battery cyclers, power analysers and thermal chambers
Log, analyse and report test data while raising and tracking defects to closure
