Harm Reduction Prevention Specialist

The Harm Reduction Prevention Specialist works within the Syringe Services Program to distribute safer drug use supplies and provide harm reduction education on topics such as safer use, HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, and overdose prevention. The role involves conducting HIV and HCV testing at the AFL site and in the community, managing inventory, and maintaining data records for the Department of Public Health. This position requires collaboration with clinical staff to ensure access to care and treatment while engaging with diverse populations through outreach and community support.
