About this role

Astranis is seeking a Harness Manufacturing Intern to support the design, build, and continuous improvement of wire harness and cable assembly processes. This role provides hands-on exposure to production environments, manufacturing documentation, quality systems, and process optimization in a low/medium volume production setting. The intern will work onsite five days a week to assist with hardware builds, quality inspections, and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Support design and continuous improvement of wire harness and cable assembly processes
Assist with wire harness and cable assembly builds including cutting stripping and crimping
Analyze manufacturing issues such as defects rework and throughput constraints
