HCC Coder

The HCC Coder evaluates the accuracy and consistency of coded clinical data quality results and reports in accordance with established standards. This role involves collaborating with the Billing Manager and Medical Director to ensure compliance in the collection of outpatient diagnoses and services using current coding classifications. The position requires reviewing medical records, communicating with providers regarding documentation, and creating training presentations on Medicare coding guidelines.
