Head Cook- Prosser

The Head Cook is responsible for the daily preparation and seasoning of foods, serving breakfast, lunch, and snacks according to recipes, and maintaining kitchen inventory and equipment. The role involves ensuring compliance with USDA/CACFP and Head Start/ECEAP standards, maintaining safety and sanitation protocols, and preparing required reports for funding sources. The position also includes purchasing food and supplies, training cooks, and coordinating with staff on nutrition-related activities.
