It provides coordinated access to high‑quality human biological samples, associated data, tools and standards, and offers guidance on ethical, legal and technical best practices. By harmonising procedures across national nodes and enabling data/sample discovery and access, BBMRI-ERIC accelerates collaboration between researchers, clinicians and industry to help develop new diagnostics and treatments.
