About this role

The Head of Communications is a senior leadership role at PLOS responsible for defining and executing an organisation-wide communications and brand strategy that advances the mission of open science. The role partners with PLOS leadership to ensure visibility, influence, and impact across media, social channels, and communities and leads the communications team to deliver integrated, cross-channel initiatives. This position is fully remote and open to candidates based in the UK.
