Head of Data Governance

The Head of Data Governance leads Baillie Gifford's firmwide Data Governance function, responsible for defining, implementing, and embedding the firm's data governance framework, standards, and control expectations. This executive role provides oversight on data ownership, stewardship, lineage, privacy, and ethical use, while challenging business areas to ensure adherence to governance standards. Reporting to the Head of Data, the position involves chairing the Data Governance Group and translating complex regulatory topics into actionable business insights and risk assessments.
