About this role

The Head of Product Security leads the secure-by-design pillar within the CISO function, embedding security into agile product squads through shift-left strategies, threat modeling, and developer toolchain management. This role balances deep technical expertise with developer empathy to create a service-oriented security culture rather than acting as a regulatory gatekeeper.

Responsibilities

Lead the shift-left security program integrated into the software development lifecycle.
Manage the developer security toolchain including SAST, DAST, and SCA scanning.
Own the vulnerability management lifecycle and chair the Vulnerability Review Board.
Establish and operate the security champions program across engineering teams.
Provide risk-based release decisions and self-service security capabilities to product squads.
