About this role
The Head of Programme will lead the Wellcome Sanger Institute’s Somatic Genomics Programme, setting a long-term scientific vision to understand how somatic mutations arise and influence human health. This senior leadership role directs a major research agenda across cancer, ageing and mutational processes, and operates within a non-tenure faculty model supported by technical, operational and informatics teams. The post-holder will be based in the UK with global applicants encouraged and hybrid working arrangements available.
