About this role

The Head of Quality & Build Reliability at Hermeus will own the development and leadership of quality and build reliability functions as the company transitions from experimental X-plane development to prototype and production aircraft. This role is responsible for establishing and scaling a digital quality management system and ensuring compliance with DoD, FAA, and aerospace standards. The position leads a small, high-performing team and closely partners with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and program leadership to embed quality into all phases of design, production, and sustainment. The leader will be onsite at the Atlanta facility and work directly on the factory floor to ensure aircraft are built and maintained to rigorous defense and airworthiness requirements.
