Head Start Teacher

The Head Start Teacher serves as a primary educator for a group of up to 17 children aged three to five in a center-based environment, co-planning and implementing educational programs that integrate Ojibwe language and culture. This full-time, non-exempt position requires maintaining a nurturing classroom environment, collaborating with co-teachers and parents, and ensuring compliance with Head Start Performance Standards. The role involves daily responsibilities including curriculum implementation, child assessment, family engagement, and maintaining accurate records.
