This role involves registering patients and specimens in the Hospital Information System and processing physician orders for laboratory tests. The position requires collecting and receiving specimens using appropriate techniques while assisting with front desk duties and outpatient workflow. Additionally, the role includes processing pathology specimens and reports in the absence of the pathology assistant, as well as handling Chain of Custody urine drug screens and Breathalyzer tests.
