Health Improvement Practitioner (HIP)

The Health Improvement Practitioner will deliver brief consultations and evidence‑based behavioural interventions to individuals, groups and families across mental and physical health conditions in primary care settings. Working within GP/medical clinics in the Hauraki and Thames/Coromandel areas, the role supports general practice teams and integrates with the Ohu Hinengaro mental health and addiction services to improve health equity for Māori whānau.
