Health Information Technician

This role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of patient data within the electronic medical record system, Carelogic, and managing the transfer, scanning, and destruction of paper medical records in compliance with state and federal laws. The position involves analyzing patient data for quality and privacy, managing medical record deficiencies, and assisting with audits and peer review processes. Additionally, the role requires training staff on technology systems, handling help desk tickets, and providing professional support for medical records and privacy requests across the facility continuum.
