The Health Unit Coordinator 2 provides clerical and patient customer service support as an integral member of the patient care team in a hospital unit. The role connects providers, staff, and other departments through phone, fax, and computer systems and may also register patients and manage patient data. The HUC 2 works under the direction of the shift supervisor and unit resource person.
