Heating Plant Operator II

The Heating Plant Operator II assists the Heating Plant Shift Supervisor in the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment for producing electricity, steam, demineralized water, and compressed air for the University of Alberta campus and surrounding facilities. The role involves conducting routine equipment checks, maintaining compliance with provincial codes and university policies, and performing preventative maintenance. The position requires working independently for approximately 70% of the time and assumes care of the plant in the supervisor's absence.
