Heavy Check Engineer

The Heavy Check Engineer plans, coordinates, and provides engineering oversight for scheduled heavy maintenance events across the airline's fleet. This role serves as the primary engineering liaison between the airline, Maintenance Repair Organizations (MROs), and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with FAA and manufacturer requirements. The position involves evaluating complex maintenance findings, developing engineering repair solutions, and supporting troubleshooting to drive aircraft reliability and return-to-service objectives.
