About this role

Finning Canada is seeking a Field experienced Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic to support mining customers at the Skeena and Tahltan Nation Development Corporation. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding various Caterpillar equipment such as Rock Trucks, dozers, excavators, and graders in an active mine environment. Candidates will perform field diagnoses, large-scale overhauls, and maintain technical documentation while interacting with customers and support teams.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair Caterpillar mining equipment in the field
Perform large-scale overhauls and rebuilds on heavy machinery
