Heavy Duty Mechanic

This position is responsible for the repair, overhaul, maintenance, and servicing of construction and heavy equipment, as well as other mobile equipment and small engines. The role involves performing major and minor repairs on engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems, while also handling welding, cutting, and general shop work. The incumbent ensures equipment is maintained efficiently to minimize outside service needs and adheres to safety and cost-tracking procedures.
