Heavy Equipment Operator

This position involves operating various motorized heavy vehicles and commercial equipment for the collection and transfer of refuse, recyclables, and other materials within the Utilities/Public Works Department. The role requires performing pre- and post-trip inspections, conducting minor preventative maintenance, and ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations and operational policies. Personnel must be available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, to support essential county services.
