Heavy Equipment Operator

Under the general direction of the Division Supervisor, this role performs semi-skilled maintenance work and operates the largest and most complex equipment in the City’s fleet for construction, maintenance, and replacement tasks within the Public Works departments. The position requires operating a variety of medium and heavy equipment, performing routine inspections, and ensuring equipment is maintained in a clean and orderly manner. The role may also involve acting as a crew leader and performing manual labor duties at construction sites.
