Heavy Equipment Operator

The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery, including front-end loaders, dozers, graders, rollers, excavators, and dump trucks, to lift and transport bulk materials to storage, landfill sites, feed conveyors, hoppers, chutes, and trucks or railcars. The role involves performing pre-operation inspections, executing site preparation and earthmoving tasks, and ensuring the safe and efficient handling of materials while maintaining equipment and adhering to safety procedures. The operator must communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers, maintain regular attendance, and adapt to changing job site conditions and project priorities.
