Hierarchical Condition Category (HCC) Coding Specialist

This role delivers value to the Health Plan and its beneficiaries enrolled in Medicare Advantage and ACA programs by utilizing skills in HCC coding, medical coding, and clinical terminology. The position involves collaborating with physicians and partners to ensure accurate risk adjustment coding, supporting Remote Patient Monitoring projects, and maintaining compliance with CMS guidelines. Candidates will analyze physician documentation, interpret ICD10 diagnoses into HCC categories, and drive process improvements through documentation analysis and provider education.
