High School Intern

The City of Fairfax offers a High School Internship program across various city departments, providing students with meaningful exposure to public service and local government operations. Selected interns will apply academic knowledge to perform meaningful work projects aligned with their interests or coursework under the supervision of senior staff. The program aims to develop future talent, promote civic engagement, and introduce students to career pathways in public administration and municipal government.
