About this role

SpaceX is seeking a motivated Electrical-optical Silicon photonics IC engineer to develop next-generation PIC/EIC for deployment in space and ground infrastructures. This role involves designing, analyzing, and simulating drivers for MZM and laser diodes, as well as developing analog/mixed-signal/RF/microwave circuits. The engineer will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to maximize the utility and performance of the Starlink network.

Responsibilities

Design and simulate drivers for MZM and laser diodes
Develop analog and mixed-signal circuits in SiGe or CMOS processes
Evaluate and characterize electrical and optical building blocks
