About this role

AMA is hiring Materials and Chemical Engineering Interns to support NASA Ames Research Center on thermal protection systems within the Entry Systems and Technology Division. The internship focuses on projects related to manufacturing and characterization of low-density fibrous ceramics and coatings for space vehicles, technology maturation for Earth/Mars applications, and post-flight analysis. Positions start as soon as possible, run for a minimum of one year, and can be part-time during the school year with potential full-time hours in summer.
