About this role

Supports the HIM Release of Information program through the facilitation of ROI-related processes and workflows to ensure the complete, accurate, timely, and compliant release of patient information.

Responsibilities

Monitors and completes release of information requests
Enters new requestors into the ROI database
Retrieves health information from multiple sources
Ensures compliance with HIPAA and other regulations
Coordinates with physicians and staff for information access
