About this role

The Histopathology Intern supports routine histology workflows and the development of next-generation tissue preparation and imaging techniques within the Pathology Team. This role involves working closely with pathologists to evaluate tissue-device interactions, with a focus on optimizing volumetric histology pipelines like tissue clearing and lightsheet microscopy. The intern will assist in maintaining advanced optical hardware, supporting tissue processing, and documenting experimental protocols in compliance with laboratory standards.

Responsibilities

Optimize and validate next-generation histology workflows and tissue clearing methods
Operate advanced optical hardware and lightsheet imaging systems for 3D tissue visualization
Support routine tissue processing, sectioning, and slide preparation with standard staining protocols
