Histotechnician

The Histotechnician prepares surgical and autopsy specimen materials for clinical diagnosis and assists pathologists with complex histological procedures. This second shift role involves processing tissue specimens using automated techniques, maintaining equipment, and ensuring quality control within a histology laboratory. The position may also include specialty tasks such as muscle biopsy send-outs and limited immunohistochemistry responsibilities.
