Histotechnologist

Under the direction of supervisors, this role is directly responsible for the prompt, efficient, and accurate performance of a variety of histological procedures on tissue specimens. The position involves processing tissue specimens, assisting pathologists with gross examinations and frozen sections, and maintaining departmental equipment and supplies. The role requires a certified histotechnologist with a strong understanding of IHC, ISH, and special stains to support daily microscopic examinations.
