CAPSLO (Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo County) is a nonprofit community action agency that works to reduce poverty and strengthen families across San Luis Obispo County through direct services, programs, and advocacy. It delivers a range of supports for low-income residents, including emergency financial assistance (rent and utilities), housing and homelessness prevention, food and basic-needs programs, and early childhood services such as Head Start and childcare. CAPSLO also provides case management, workforce and financial coaching, and partners with local governments and nonprofits to coordinate resources and community outreach that promote stability and self-sufficiency.
