Hospital Coding Auditor

The Hospital Coding Auditor reviews and audits patient records to ensure accurate ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, POA, and MS-DRG code assignments according to established guidelines. This role involves issuing quarterly coding report cards, providing coding training and education, and assisting with coding accuracy and regulatory compliance. The position may also handle RAC and third-party audit appeals and support operational needs as required.
