Housing Standards Officer

This role involves conducting proactive inspections of residential properties and investigating housing disrepair complaints using the Housing Health & Safety Rating System. The officer will manage licensing and enforcement for houses of multiple occupation and mobile home sites, while also leading initiatives to bring empty homes back into use. Additionally, the position requires supporting well-managed rented housing through the Renters Rights Act and handling environmental protection complaints.
