About this role

The HPC Engineer - Storage serves as the primary execution engine for the data persistence layer feeding the AI Factory, focusing on mounting filesystems, tuning client-side I/O, and ensuring data reaches GPUs at line rate. This role involves deploying ultra-high-performance parallel file systems for NVIDIA and Cisco AI Factory environments, operating with a 100% focus on delivery and executing Low-Level Designs. The engineer owns the storage component of the compute-network-storage triad to prevent I/O bottlenecks for training jobs.

Responsibilities

Execute deployment of high-performance storage clients on bare-metal nodes using Ansible
Configure and tune RDMA-based protocols to deliver data directly to GPU memory
Install and troubleshoot CSI drivers to ensure dynamic provisioning of Persistent Volumes
