About this role

The role leads the end‑to‑end success of Zoetis’ VMRD High Performance Computing environment, setting vision, roadmap, and service offerings while providing technical leadership for architecture, SLURM scheduling, reliability, and growth. The owner partners with scientific and business stakeholders to translate workload demand into prioritized backlogs and measurable value, ensuring performance, cost, and risk objectives are met through capacity planning and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Own product vision, roadmap, and service catalog for HPC platform
Define target‑state HPC architecture and technical standards
Lead SLURM scheduling strategy, configuration, and L3 support
Drive operational excellence through monitoring, SLO/SLI, and incident management
Plan and execute capacity growth, procurement, and lifecycle refresh

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information SystemsMaster's degree (preferred)
