Human Aware Interactions and Learning Intern

This internship offers a 12-week hybrid opportunity to join the Human Aware Interaction and Learning (HAIL) team at Toyota Research Institute, focusing on creating general-purpose robots that can perform dexterous tasks with humans. The role involves researching and developing algorithms for robot learning and human-robot interaction, including multimodal policies, hierarchical reasoning, and shared autonomy. Interns will create code prototypes, run experiments with simulated and physical robots, and contribute to peer-reviewed publications.
